Sean, Bruce's stated values for "excellent" early 911S cars are notoriously low. I don't know the real figure for the yellow '73 on that site...but I have had a few laughs when people would seriously offer Bruce's "valuation" for my car. If I could figure out how to post a pic, I would... If memory serves, Bruce's latest value on an "excellent" 2.4 911S coupe is in the $16K range. Find me one for that price, & I'll write the check. Then sell...for a fast $10K profit.

I did some asking around after checking out Bruce Andersson price suggestions for pre -74 S-models in Exellence, as they were ridicuolusly much lower than what I see in Europe. However, I couldn't find a single car that was anyway near what he suggests.
A friend of mine bought a rusty 1971 2.2S with semi-fresh interior for SEK 190.000, which is app. US $23.750. Engine and 901-gearbox in very good shape however. But it will cost him another US$ 10.000 to get in tip top shape. This was considered a good buy here. Similar cars have gone back to Germany for more money.
cheers
