Fantastic looking car.....but OUTLAW. Nothing beats the raw and naughty that is a Porsche that has been stripped of its fancy and comfies and made to simply perform.

Beautiful '87 and definitely a keeper. Way nicer than the Barbour outlaw. I think you would miss that '87 if you got rid of it.

I like the outlaw concept, just like Amber Lamps says, but unfortunately the Barbour outlaw seems to lack attention to details in its craftsmanship. Gaps, stance, and crooked tail lights jump right away.

'87 is definitely a keeper... glad you held off on the temptation of getting rid of it for the outlaw...

Just keep looking for a project and build your own outlaw without having to sacrifice the '87

Cheers!

Sweet 87. Keep it awhile longer and enjoy if you can.

thanks guys, the '87 stays, i thoroughly enjoy it, and am sure if it were gone i'd miss it, especially on the back winding twisting hilly roads of Bucks County

Big cars and coffee just below West Chester every sat. minus the snow of course. Rt 202 about 3 miles south of West Chester...7:30 til 11ish every saturday all year, weather permitting per each driver. Maybe not as good as ones in Cali, but surpising # of high end exotics of all makes, etc...big Porche community also.

Clean, original examples of these cars are going through the roof... don't even put non-origional washer fluid in it.

That said, an Outlaw SC/Carrara would be a blast!. I have a D-Stock PCA 911 SC, and have retired it. It's useless for racing/DE, it's ridiculous to restore it, and I have $12K in a complete engine rebuild, so I'm not selling it. So street Outlaw it is. I can tell you, it doesn't take much effort to get these cars down to about 2,300 Lbs... Even with a PCA stock engine... its a damn quick car.

If you have the bug, theres plenty of ratty SC/Carraras out there with body damage and bad engines.... or look for a beat-up old DE car... they're around for reasonable prices... making an Outlaw is really like adopting a rescue animal... fun and guilt-free.
