I just received the Bosch H4 headlight upgrade including the high power headlamp relays (one for each side). All the parts are here and I have read the technical article on installing the headlamps but there are no instructions anywhere that I can find on installing the relays.

Also, what's the process for aiming the headlights without a headlight aiming tool?

 

Not sure of the relays, but the "garage mechanic" way of aiming the headlights is pull it out in the driveway, close the garage door, turn on the lights, and direct the beams with the two adjustement screws watching the pattern as they hit the garage door. This way is easy to make sure they are aiming straight and parallel.

 

Do a search on pelican for 'msucro' - you should find a bunch of threads on the wiring for the relays. If all else fails, you might email marcus sucro - his relay kit comes with an excellent set of instructions on wiring the relays.
