Almost. Saw my old track rat '74 today in its new config in orange. Black was how I found it about 25 years ago on pallets (stolen wheels) with a seized 2.7L It became a widebody a few years later, and had various of 3.0/3.2/3.5 and 3.6L engines. Took it back to (almost) factory Polar Silver. Now, my cousin was itching to do something close to what its big brother would have been in roaming the race tracks of the world 40+ years ago.

It kind of looks like a 904 or 906 ??
I thought it looked like a 906 but it doesn't have the bubble at the back , although the rear fenders look more like the 906 with the intakes in the fenders.
Makes you wonder why cars don't look like this anymore , cars like the 904/906 and the Dino to me where the pinnacle of sexy racecars.

Yes, these cars are 100% correct, save for the engine/trans. There aren't any 8 cylinders out there to be had in our mere mortal price range, and the transaxles are revised 914 units.
The first car was this 910 (featured in Excellence a few years ago). And hiding behind the 907 is a 910 Bergspyder that may be ready for a shakedown run by the end of the year.
Most all the actual serial numbered cars out there at this point (along with more than one 917 and 908) have his fabricated suspension pieces or bodywork.

But I'm sure there are many other parts of the country with better everything.

Love Sonoma. Spent many summers there with family and my Sophomore year of high school. Was introduced to my lovely wife of 25 years through mutual friends from there.

Are you high? I'd give both my left nuts for space like that. Who cares if its out in the open? My shop consists of two sheds. One for the car and one for the tools....each about 10'x16' and an uncovered 16'x12' brick pad. The garage is used for my wife's licensed daycare.
