No rust simply means no rust that anyone has seen, yet. I bought a rust-free 72T tub, and we went over the entire thing with a fine-tooth comb. Nothing at all.
Of course, we eventually found some. But we had to completely disassemble the car (and then do some cutting) to find it.

There are only two types of 911 owners - those whose cars have rust and those who haven't found it yet.
I thought my 72 was rust free after a very detailed PPI, but I found it a couple of months later inside the left headlight well.
