Default Someone is about to get robbed on eBay...

I came across this listing just a few minutes ago on eBay. He claims that the first picture is what the car looked like before it was disassembled for restoration. The cars in the subsequent photos don't even look like they could be the same car as the first. Different wheels, different headlight trim, whale tail engine lid, etc. etc. Am I the only one who thinks the seller is pulling a fast one on someone? I can't believe the price is already up to $13,500. All that corrosion around the gauges would be concerning if I was considering purchasing this particular car...

I'm getting used to seeing high prices on Ebay. It seems like the place to unload Porsche stuff for top dollar.

Even brand new parts that can be found online in stock anywhere are on Ebay for much more ...and the stuff seems to sell.

Don't know if the ad is legit but that car has been listed a few times already over the past several weeks.

Pic of engine with the air pump isn't an '82--and the VIN says it's a US car, so...........

Looks like there is another black targa on a lift in the garage also in disrepair. Would not go near it.
