Default Kardex, Cardex and COA Certificate of Authenticity

I just received a COA for my '71 911E which I am restoring. Can anyone help me figure out what Option Group A39 is? The COA doesn't really give too much info (date of manufacture unknown, for example). Are Kardex's still available?
Any help appreciated!
Thanks,
Bill

Its a well optioned car with H1's, sunroof, appearance group, rear wiper, 14" "comfort" wheels, and someone added the Bursch exhaust.

Sure it's not 439? But that would not make sense with your car as pictured, though.
Check out this code list.

Nice find and welcome to Rennlist!
Keep us in the loop, this looks to be a very interesting project.

Yes, lots of options although I'm not crazy about the rear wiper and the wheel arch trim. Wheels are 15x6 which might have been an owner upgrade? I thought you could only get 14's on a '71 E form the factory.

The term "barn find" has become a bit overused these days but in this case, it was actually true! A couple of years ago, a real estate agent showed us a house to buy It had a barn in the back and my wife peeked through a large sliding door that was locked and saw a car. I recognized the headlights and horn grilles immediately. The car wasn't listed for sale and it took me almost an agonizing week before I was able to track down and speak with the owner and we made a deal. (The real estate agent was no help...)
I'm sure it'll never happen to me again!
The photo below is why I was especially excited to find the "E". I stupidly sold my '77 Carrera 3.0 a few years ago (it went back to Germany).

Thanks for the link. The COA definitely says A39. I'll have to check with PCNA and see if they have any suggestions... What I really need is a proper build sheet!

The COA's are infamous for errors. I'd follow up the PCNA and see if they can help. Can you post your COA.

Dealer or owner option; E's came with the 14's.
