I hate to draw anyone away from the forum, but if you're interested, I started the rebirth blog this week. At this point i'm just backdating some of the storyline that led to the purchase, but I'll be getting into the nitty gritty soon.

Enjoy it.
You don't have to make it perfect to enjoy it.
In fact, it may clean up nicely.

Been painted before obviously and probably not the best job as there is a lot of over spray where a good painter would not allow this to happen. But if solid, enjoy!
Agreed, wish that I had done that with my 914-6, but went straight into full restoration mode and now, I will never really be able to enjoy her.
