Default I have kind of been dreading this day ...

but I just turned the odometer 100,000 KM today. But the best, I hope, is still to come (especially when my new Steve Wong chip arrives!). No birthday gifts please, just best wishes.

I will try and post a picture, let's see if works.

O.K. Dean,

Now that she's broken in, you can start to have some fun with her!

Happy b-day,
Tom

100,000 KM, hehe, don't worry about it. Look at it on the bright side. When it rolls 200,000, it will be a celebration. A couple of years ago, my SC turned 200,000 miles during a track day session in which I had just finished getting by a couple of C5 Vettes and a Z06. I just sat there right after pulling into the pits and realizing a magic number came up on the odometer and started laughing. My old friend that not only has been with me for over a decade, but taught me how do drive deserved nothing less than passing that mark in style. And that it did. May you and your 911 enjoy your next 100 thousand together.

Relax Dean,

My 88 Coupe just turned over 111,000 miles. Runs great! No leaks!

Let me know how that Wong Chip works out for you.

DCN,

DREAD?? C'mon, man!! Unless the ROW cars have a kilometer 'self destruct' number built into them, I wouldn't get my knickers into a twist about hitting 100K (aproximately 62K MILES, as Bill points out). Of course, you guys with the ROW cars get to go a LOT faster than we Yanks, since there is no way that we can push our cars to 200, which appears on your speedo.*G* As TMH says, your car is just getting broken in! With the proper car, there's no reason you can't go 3x the distance! Enjoy, my friend!!! Do you have ANY idea how may people watch with envy as you drive past?? Be thankfull what you have - don't waste your time worrying about an artificial number that may not even apply to your car!
