Default Can someone kindly please pull my options from my VIN :)

Hey guys!

I recently came across a great deal on a 911sc and was wondering if someone could kindly pull the options and any other pertinent information that can be gathered from my vin?

Thanks in advance and I really appreciate all the help!

Options can't be pulled from a vin

Why don't you tell us what you know about the car ?

What ^^ he ^^ said... VIN will only give you year and model of the car... maybe a few more details as to ROW or US... but that is it.

You need to look for a label under the trunk lid to see what options came with the car. Those are the codes you need to look for... not sure where those can be decoded, but at least you need to have them to see what came with the car. Or request a COA from Porsche.

Actually, if you have access to a working Porsche PET/IPAS system, option codes can indeed be pulled from the VIN.

One of the guys on the 993 board has access, but I don't know if it does go back that far. There are a number of 911 vin decoder websites for year and mold and stuff. Most have the codes for options on the trunk sticker too. Google.

For round $100, you can get a COA from Porsche, it will contain everything and pretty cool to have with car.
