Post Steam cleaning of Tranny and engine

Was wondering if there would be any issues/problems if I took my '86 911 to have the undercarriage, engine/tranny steam cleaned to remove all the road buildup and gunk. I have one minor oil leak and figure this may be a good move to isolate where the leak is coming from as well as clean the tranny and underside of the engine. Has anyone done this and if so, is there anything I need to do to make sure steam/water does not get anywhere it shouldn't?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Jim

You may want to read an article on cleaning your engine <a href="http://www.carcareonline.com/clean_engines.html" target="_blank">here</a>.
