Default G50/50 or /52 value

Hello to all,

I am in search for an good used G50/50 or /52 for my 1986 930.
What is the going rate for these nowdays ?

Those are now VERY expensive and quite rare. I would expect to pay $8K-12K for a G50/50 and you may still need to rebuild it. The G50/52 will require the /01 end cover ($1018) to install into your '86 930.

So /50 /52 are identical in R&P and gears except the nose cone and shifter rod ?

These transmissions only vary by the nose cone and shifter, yes.

Look for a G50-01. A lot cheaper and easier to find. Still a bullet proof gearbox and many '89+ 930 and 964 turbo owners swap in the shorter ratios of the -01.
