Default Turbo my 82 911sc?

Hey guys,

New to these forums.
just wondering if it is worth turboing my car? I wanted a set of opinions maybe someone can guide me.
I just bought a 82 sc with a rebuilt engine

I would think that super charging would be an easier option.

It certainly has been done . i guess you have to look at the costs an efforts involved. Porshce pulled it off and even kept it with CIS until very late. i am thinking 87 maybe ?

I would have thought a 78/79 might have been a better engine due to its loer compresion ratio.

I would think however selling it complete and buying a 930 maybe more economical in the end.

But who knows...

CIS was on "911" turbos through '94.

Anything's possible if you throw enough money at it, but yeah you're treading into real 930 territory with anything more than a half-assed aftermarket attempt.
