Hi!
Today my dad bought a 911T 1969 heavily modified to a 993TT look with what the seller says original parts. Its only look wise but under the hood there is also a 3.0SC Engine with 3,2 Max Moritz-pistons/cylinders, 3,3 Turbo K-Jetronic och turboinjectors(?), optical spark (?) with adjustable ignition (?)
It´s also got a 915 gearbox but the seller says the clutch Cables are shot and therefore it needs to be transported back home.
Which cluth Cable do we need? Is it only depending on the gearbox or has it saomething to do with what year of 911 you have? Will a later 915 Cable match the cluth pedal?
We also want some advise what to do with the car?
Initial plan was to find an early chassis to make a nice original car or maybe an R/RS/MW/Singer clone but when we stumbled on this one we really dont know how to proceed yet.
The turbo wing is going first thing and then maybe back datethe front but keep the wider rear fenders. Its however not the same widebody like earlier cars but might be a cool hot rod thing to do?
As for the Engine and gearbox i guess we start with what we have and look to get it in driving condition first.
Brakes and chassis is unknown so far but what can be done here to beef up the brakes? Is it 911S, 3.2, 944 Turbo brakes or what options do we have?
Chassis? Give us som options to a nice firm chassis!
We can get good deals on Öhlins directly from the founder Kent :-) but maybe this is not possible on early cars like what Singer put on their 964 based cars.
Thanks alot guys!
/Peter

Well yes, it looks like there is quite quality work done here but we havent seen it in the flesh yet. Will take a week to get it to us.
No turbo/intercooler.
Is this a common mod to bolt the 3,3 turbo injection on these Engines? Optical adjustable spark, what the heck is this...?
If i zoom in on the front Wheel it looks like there is some sort of black caliper with White porsche script. What could this be, 964/944 turbo maybe.
What kind of Power are we talking about here do you guys think with this big bore 3,2 kit and injection stated?
What intake is this?

Oh dear God, why? ![crying](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigcry.gif)
Is that engine/intake/injector combo even possible? Just because you can tig, does not mean you should tig.![nono](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/nono.gif)
Man I give up. Where are the injectors?

That really is a FrankenPorsche with the motor! I have no idea why they went with the 3.3 turbo CIS, other than the 3.0 is CIS. With the money spent on the bodywork, they could have just gone EFI.

So the case is 3.0, the jugs are 3.2, the CIS is 3.3, and the plenum is 3.6???

Now, none of you can ever, I mean NEVER, not even William, can ever give me crap for my tail lights or my door cards, ever again.![order](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/order.gif)
Actually, I think the manifold is of a 993, not a 964, but still 3.6.

Wow.... seriously, I hope you guys got it for a steal price...
IMHO, not worth trying to backdate it... leave it as is, rear spoiler and all... get it running and enjoy it.
Makes no financial sense to try to take it back to stock. You do not have the stock engine, you will need all body panels... no interior photos, but my guess is that you will need all new, period correct, interior... not worth it.

Or, not worth it YET. Who knows where this is all going, and the rising tide that may lift even a '69 T 2.0 Coupe. But yeah, I don't think that day is today.

It looks like a very nicely done conversion,if you could get your hands on a good 3.6 it would make for a very interesting fast and light car !

Thanks for feedback guys!
For beeing in Sweden the price was good. He had 30+ emails bidding higher than asked price but we part exchanged with a 968 and the guy fell for that deal.
Asking price was 17500$...did you guys choke now!? :-)
But seriously, this is the cheapest 911 any model that's been sold for a very long time.
I'm also thinking of keeping it like is but ditch the rear spoiler, then it could be a C2S or C4S as far as looks. It's more suitable with the performance.
Regarding putting in a 3,6 is an option I'm trying to talk the old man into...
For reference there was this 69' T built to 993 GT2/RSR look with an authentic RSR 3,8 engine built by Edgar Dören producing 400rwhp with 915 gearbox.
This sold for around 68000$ twice within 2 years so that really is an option to make it a RS/RSR/GT2 copy with an awesome engine!

Look at it that way, we only need GT2 flares, the rear spoiler and the engine!

When I first saw the pics of your car, I thought it was this one. This car has been for sale for years. http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/cto/4437608871.html
