Just waking my 1988 Carrera Cab after a long cold winter here in the NE. Passenger door latch won't engage and consequently I cannot close the door fully. The other side I see the metal latch on the door jam will click to two positions. On the broken side the metal piece does not click down. Any one else have this problem. How difficult to remedy. Thanks.

My 88 is doing the same thing, I believe it is a problem with the central locking system. After fireing up the car, mine goes back to latching.
