Default A couple of (new) radio install questions...

On my 86 I have a fader button which I'd like to override. Where to I tap into the wires? Is there a 'best' spot for this?
Where do I connect the power from the antenna amplifier to (black wire together with the windscreen antenna plug)? On the switched or permanent? Thanks.

Are you replacing the radio with a current/modern one or just modifying the existing one?
