Help decode engine number and type please -
Hi
Been searching Pelican and this forum for help on decoding my engine number.
*6671481*
I know it to be 1977 - and that the last 4 digits are to match the VIN.
Not sure about the second 6's meaning?
Also, my engine type is 930/02 - and i cannot find what this means either?
Any help much appreciated.

930/02 is a middy 3.0 Carrera engine (pre SC ) ROW. Unlike the normal 2.7 L it had an aluminum case as opposed to the mag 2.7. This case was carried over to the SC 3.0 L.
8.5:1 compression 200 HP @ 6k rpm. max rpm 7k. 188 lbft. @ 4200 rpm.
Nice engine.
