Hi everyone,
I'm trying to get my car setup correctly for the track. It's mainly a track car with limited use on the street as I do not commute to work.
Currently I have the stock torsion bars. Someone recommended 21mm Front 29mm Rear. Is this the right setup to go with?
Thanks
Lefty

Hi Lefty:
For a dedicated track 911 with narrow fenders, I'd use 22mm and 28mm in these lightweight cars with mag-cased engines.
29mm ones would be appropriate for a 911 with a 3.6,...![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Don't forget the SR adjustable swaybars.

I think you need to go 22 in the front. I think 28 is a good idea for the back, maybe even 27. If you go too stiff in the back, you may be having trouble keeping the back end in. Be prepared to switch around a bit until you have it perfect.

Thanks for the info. Just to clarify. I have SC flares welded on and 245 on the rear tires and 225 on the front. I also have a RS spec 2.7 engine - so a slightly hotter car then a standard 74.
Steve, does this change your opinion on the rear bars?
Thanks

Hi Lefty:
My advice surely does change,...![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
22mm/29mm T-bars would be entirely appropriate for a car like yours, so equipped. We sell and install the Sander Engineering tubular ones.
