This unusual accessory came with my 1983 911SC from the previous owner. The strap is made of the same material as the seat belt straps. It has a non-removable metal clasp on the strap as well. The porsche logo is on both sides of an open ended pouch. My wife calls it my man purse. Had it for a long time, but not sure what it is for.

I'm confident someone here knows. Any help?

i think thats just what it is. a custom purse . the 944s had a big embroidered logo in the rear carpet they probrobly used a few of those

Does your passport fit in it? Looks like a money belt. Kinda like a personal smuggler's box. We use them when we go on vacation.

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions. Not sure I need a purse or money belt. Haven't done coke in a long time (really never), and not even sure what a sporran is. I guess it will just have to stay in the closet.
