Flag to Tear Drop mirror upgrade
Hi Folks,
I wonder if anyone can help, I have just acquired a set of Tear Drop mirrors for my 1986 Euro Carrera, but need some help on the wiring mapping as the mirror side has 5 wires, but the car side 6 wires as follows
Driver Side Mirror end:
Brown
Black/Blue
Grey/Green
White/Red
Black/Red
Drivers side car end:
Brown White
Green & Green/White (loop)
2 x White/Green (loop)
2 x Browns
Grey/Green
Black
Passenger Side Mirror end:
Brown
Grey/Blue
Grey/Green
White/Red
Black/Blue
Drivers side car end:
White/Blue
Green & Green/White (loop)
White/Green (loop)
Brown
Grey/Green
Black/Blue
Thanks in advance

Beaky,
Thank you for posting your results,i might attempt to connect my wiring this Summer.The wiring discrepancies might be due to the heated mirrors on some models ...
Let us know if the connections work !

Worked a treat, you just need to remember to ignore/eliminate the loop as follows:
Driver’s side
White/Brown = Blue/Red
*Green & White/Green = White/Red
2 x Brown = Brown
Grey/Green = Grey/Green
Black = Black Blue
* Can be 2 x Black/Brown instead of Green & Green White
Passenger side:
White/Blue =Grey/Blue
Green = White/Red
Brown = Brown
Grey/Green = Grey/Green
Black/Blue = Black/Blue
Driver’s side
White/Brown = Blue/Red
*Green & White/Green = White/Red
2 x Brown = Brown
Grey/Green = Grey/Green
Black = Black Blue
* Can be 2 x Black/Brown instead of Green & Green White
Passenger side:
White/Blue =Grey/Blue
Green = White/Red
Brown = Brown
Grey/Green = Grey/Green
Black/Blue = Black/Blue
