I wish I could claim myself as the liberator of the car but John actually sends me threatening pms over on Pelican because of the things I say about his warehouse of turds and his no-sale tactics.

A local friend, who like many of us in Colorado has known John for some years, went up and bought it. It was a CA car still on original pink slip. Needed a pan and to be pulled out of mothballs. My friend had Apex in Denver do the pan and then had Eurosport in Arvada clean the tank, rebuild the carbs, convert to electric fuel pump, and give her a tune up with cap and rotor and valve adjustment. About that time I came along and traded him straight across for my 85 Carrera rat.
