I just bought my 1978 911 SC!
I just bought seat belts for the back for my children.
Will someone please tell me where the buckle with the red press button goes? To the outside to the center? The retractable part goes opposite so I can figure that.
Please tell me where to put the belts.

John, I'll check my '81 SC tomorrow and get back to you. Where are you in Montana. I'll be in Bozeman on Saturday night and Sunday, then down to Big Sky.

Thank you for checking on the seat belt location. Look forward to your reply.
I live far from where you'll be. I'm up on the Canadian border North of Chester, MT.
What brings you West to MT. Business or pleasure?

John--
the female receptacle mounts inboard, next to the center hump. the male retractable part is outboard (right side for RH passenger, left side for LH passenger)

Thanks.
I just got the plastic covers from Performance today. Now I can do the install.
By the way. Right now Performance is having a summer sale. I bought my order at a 20% discount.
I have no connection to the company. Just passing along a savings tip to a fellow Porshce owner.
Once again thank you for the info.
Also, hope you enjoy your trip to our Big Sky State.
