Default Fountain Blue vs. Ice Blue

I'm considering a paint to sample 911 cabriolet in a silvery blue and see that both fountain blue metallic and ice blue metallic are on the list. Does anyone know the difference? It's hard to discern from pictures. And perhaps more importantly, does anyone own or know of vehicle in either of these colors within 300 miles of Los Angeles? I am apprehensive to order any color (particularly a metallic color) without first seeing it in person. Thanks so much!

Sounds like you're in the wrong forum, if you're picking colors on a new car.

Sorry, Ed. I'm new to the site and this is my first post. Which forum would you suggest? Thanks.

I have a 991 in Agate Metallic. My 1987 Carerra Targa that I sold was Diamond Blue Metallic. This is a great color.
