Default Trying to Identify this Custom Porsche

A friend has asked for help locating the original owner/builder of his custom 1976 Porsche Slant Nose. The details and pics of the car can be seen on Motor Car Digest here: http://motorcardigest.com/1976-porsc...riginal-owner/

Any help would be appreciated!!!!

I remember seeing that car, this could be the original builder.

Minus the fart can exhaust and gas port bling looks like a reg slant. Never cared for that design but it was pop back in the day.

I'm pretty sure that's a kit from AIR (American International Racing). They made those kits in the 90's and in some cases used 928 headlights and motors.

A kinda like it... minus the slant and gas bling... should be easy enough to put back into shape.

It turns out this may be a Buchmann and Buchmann car. B and B was a German Tuner that went our of business in the 80's. The cars were pretty popular and even have miniatures sold in there likeness. Thanks for the help to all who helped. I personally think the car is cool (although not my particular style).

I hope it is. Then it does qualify as a cool car. My comments above come from seeing so many junkyard 2.7 cars used as junior collage body shop donors that come complete with spiderwebs, 10y/o tires, and 40 pounds of bondo. Too many "custom" 911's make the dune buggy look factory correct.
