Hi and greetings, I have a 78 Turbo here in the U.K. a former California car and the odometer has packed up (speedo still works), I have read on here it is a common problem, I have pulled it apart and the gear is stripped. I have made a few calls here and drawn a blank, who sells the gears in the U.S.?

Hi, yes I have ordered one but its from Australia and it could still be wrong as i'm not really able to count the teeth. Speed is of the essence as I have sold the car.

Hi Tony,

I had the same issue and after some research found this company in Switzerland http://www.plastikzahnrader.com/index.html the gear was 24 Euros including postage to the UK and it arrived within a week.
