Hello everyone, just want to come in and give a formal introduction to all of you. My name is Chris, been a car person ever since I could remember, went through a lot of cars over the years and have finally gotten in to a Porsche. Im new to Porsche but not to air-cooled's so I any hep is appreciated, I would say I'm a hands on person, haven't had a shop do work on any of my cars in the past few years.
So it started of with a 1995 BMW M3 eurospec, then went to my fathers 1966 Mustang GT convertible, to a 2007 Audi a4 that I ended up building the motor on and a whole lot of other things, while I had the A4 I also got a 1963 Beetle which i later traded them both for a 2004 VW R32, built that also and after a year of owner ship I decided it was time… so i threw the R32 up for sale and began my search for a 911. After months of looking, calling, begging, and annoying people, I finally found the one I wanted. A 1984 Carrera 3.2, located in Utah. Went back and forth with the seller over a month or so while my car was waiting to be sold. Finally my R32 sells after what seemed to be years! and I immediately turn around and buy the 911 and set up a shipping date for it through Intercity. After about a month after I bought the car, she finally arrives, And she looked better then I expected. Paint is perfect, everything works, motor sounds great. All in all I'm STOKED!!
Sorry for the lengthy introduction now here is a picture since I know it will be asked haha
Ive already purchased a Fabspeed Cat and muffler bypass and lowered the from to match the rear height.

I have driven older 911's at the shop i used to work at, but never go to enjoy one as my own. Its a very raw feel when behind the wheel thats for sure. Pictures do not to justice to the condition of this car, ill be sure to post more when the weather gets nice and i can take it out of the garage. The wheels are actually HRE 501's, very similar to the BBS RS.

Thank you all for the kind words! As far as corner balance goes, the car was raised all the way up in the front, I simply lowered its back down to match the rear. Car actually handles much better now i must say… and looks a ton better
Evan, thank you again for the help ill be sure to post a video of it installed for all to hear! And that Sequoia Jetta is my daily, 97 vr6, vento grill, euro encodes, shaved front bumper, euro trunk, euro tails, wolfsburg interior, nardi wheel, nardi ****, Airlift Bags, BBS RS's, C2 tune, Magnaflow exhaust, and an intake. its a fun little daily to say the least haha
