Default 98 993 wheels

I've recently bought a 98 993 C2S. It's been lowered to Euro height spec. Currently it's riding on 18" rims. My question - will 19" rims fit? I'm thinking 19x8.5 for front and 19x11 for rear. Thanks

Yes, but make sure the rear wheels has an offset of 51 or less. If not, you will need spacers.

Default Check in on the 993 forum

The wheels may fit.

But you will not be happy with the ride quality.

Check over on the 993 forum and you will see many stories of guys trying 19s and they always end up back with the 18s.

I got 19" Carrera Sports on my 993 C4S. My car has Bilsten HD and lowered a little more than euro height. The ride is not noticeable between the 18" and 19".

Depends on how third world your roads are. Some 997 GT3 wheels dropped in my lap a few years ago, so I've run them off-and-on on my 4S. Have I lazily not changed them out for the snow tires on occasion when I knew I-80 would be clear? Yes. Have I regretted it? (Actually surprised I have not bent one of the wheels.)

Dont do it.
I had a set of 19 inch wheels on one of my 993's and the ride was terrible.
You may like the look ( I did not) but you will regret it soon after.

You should try a set of 18" 996 twin turbo hollow spokes. They look and fit great on the wide body 993's.
Just my two cents,
Al

The C2s came with narrow body ( 65 offset ) turbo twists and spacers to compensate.

The other option is to get OEM wide body turbo twists from the C4s which I happen to have a set in excellent condition with tires sitting in my garage if you are interested
