Well I feel for Parkerfe if in fact he was sold a car under false pretense ... Here is their response; in other words buyer beware

This car was inspected by a reputable porsche dealer of his choosing. I do
believe they would have told him that it was not a from the factory option.
I appreciate your concerns but I assure you this is a from the factory car.

If i got it right - buyer is a lawyer

so it looks like they took the wrong victim for their deal ...

well i hop OP keeps us informed , because i am not a lawyer but it sure looked to me they were selling a TL with the option code .. if the option is actually not on the car .. and they new it , its fraud. Not sure what happens if they didnt know it ws a fake .. Do you have to prove they new it was fake ? .. this should be interesting.

I am sure things will go "dark" until there is a resolution.

+1

I took some snap shots of the page with M491 claims. If the OP needs them, please PM me.

I would think so ... Or at least as a reputable seller they should have checked it out prior to listing it as a factory turbo look

I appreciate all the support from my fellow forum members. But, I will resolve my claim with Gateway, via the Indiana fraud and consumer protection laws, not via forum posts.

Hey Franklin, this is AHudson from Fchat. Interesting taste in cars! We shared the 512BBi, now a wide body 911 (just got mine last night).

I hope your issue gets resolved with minimal hassle and maximum enjoyment. Whether it is THIS 911 or another, you are certainly in the right market.

Good to have experts like this forum and Norbert on hand to clarify. Better to know now than later.
