Default Heat Controller Question.

1988 Carrera, manual heat.

Just repaired my Heat Controller, open primary relay coil.

Search turned up this thread:

Apparently, from '84-88, the heat controller module was used to activate the cabin heater blower to help with engine cooling if the engine temperature had reached an excessive temperature in stop and go, slow moving traffic.

Presaging the method used in the 964/993 series except no after-run capability.

Does anyone know the actual temperature detection level of the "Temperature Switch Fan" sensor, item 93 in the schematics/diagrams...?

Is this switch vailable for purchase anywhere?
