Default Heat Controller

1988 911 Carrera.

Does the cabin heater blower in the engine compartment not run unless the duct air temperature is high enough?

Having trouble getting the blower to run, and thus the footwell blowers.

The heat controller module has an input on pin 10 labelled "blower Temp Switch", what function does that provide?

Problem solved. The primary relay, cabin heater blower relay, had an open coil. Luckily the URO parts spare DME relay used the same relay. Savaged one and installed.

Works.

Sidebar: The engine heat sensor will activate the engine cabin heater blower if it closes.
