I passed on a nice one, at a dealer, with under 100k, for $20k. Just be patient.

That is why I joined this forum, to meet and get in touch with enthusiasts that share my immense passion.

I waited a while before I became a paid member. See if you like it here and then you can join. It does not cost much and I did want to support the forum if I am going to use it.

Yea I kind of wanted to support the forum so I probably will become a member, plus I was told I could see more listings and maybe that will help with my car search.

I haven't been active in awhile, but during my down time I have been doing alot of thinking and figured I would ask the great people that have already given some great ideas/advice the thoughts on a Cayman S, and the question of will it get me shunned off the 911 Forums. My new idea as much as I love the 996 GT3 and its my dream car; would be to buy a Cayman S and then shortly down the road buy a really nice 3.6 964. Then a long time down the road buy a 996 gt3, I am alittle worried about the collectibilty factor of a 3.6 964 and finding one that wont burn up my wallet, thats why I am changing up my ideas here, also i like the fact of owning two of my favorite cars than just one to start. Whats your thoughts, and please correct me if I am wrong on anything here.

Well... None of the cars you have mentioned are from this forum. I would suggest t
Posting this on the forum of the cars you are mentioning.

Good luck.

I haven't really been too active on here but I have been thinking about my Porsche situation a lot lately and so...yea finally test drove an 07 Cayman, not really a GT3 spot filler for me. The even better news is that GT3's are rising in price and also is the rarity level of a speed yellow one with under 30k on it. I think, by the looks of it I may be staying in the air-cooled realm. I have an utter love for the 964 and fall deeper and deeper in love with it everyday it seems so it might just be where I want to be at right now. With that being said I will never lose the GT3 as my all time dream car, but after realizing just how expensive living life is it just seems out of the question. Also just wanted to point out too, I appreciate the warm welcomes I have received from the Porsche community on here, so thank's.

Welcome, I wish I'd discovered Porsche at your age but had to go thru numerous other marques to get here.
Goals are marvelous things to work toward....luck to you.
