find out if the seller has a COA issues from Porsche they should show the engine and VIN numbers. i just hope they have the recorde from that far back .
the VIN you can just ask the seller for and he should be able to show you . Mine i think is under the front carpet and in the drivers door frame. but he should be able to show you .
The engine number is a little trickier .. pop the rear deck lid and look at the fan ,on the lower right side of the fan on the casing the number is printed there ..may be hard to find. post the number here and we will at least be able to tell you if it matches that model and year of car ..but cant tell you if its original.
That car was only about 2 years after they started making them .. hope its in nice shape..

So here are some pics. Let me know your opinion. All original. One respray. Solid car. A few blemishes but it runs great. It's ready to be driven. Matching numbers. What do you think is a good price? What is high and what is low? Thanks in advance

early 911s
Per Excellence mag's 2013-14 Buyer's Guide, the historically significant short wheel base 911s (1964-68) are market priced in the $40-70K range depending on condition. Show quality cars can reach $100K while basket cases aren't worth restoring unless you're a 1% looking for a hobby.
This is a thin market where only experts fear to tread. Go find one and have him assist you.

Thanks guys. I passed on it bc I don't want to restore a car. It's a driver that needs restoring at some point but is presentable. I saw the slippery slope and decided to get off the ledge. If anyone is interested I can give you the sellers contact info. He is asking 45k firm and I found out he bought it in nov 2011 for 20k after further research. I'd buy for 20 but I won't be the sucker at 45
