Red face 911 door lock ****

trying to repair inoperable driver's side window, am finding it nearly impossible to remove door lock **** without really screwing it up - hasn't been off since new in '87 - any suggestions?

I think you have to pop off a little cap covering the screw holding it on. Use a really small screw driver to pop the cap off.

Just be careful with the little cap so you don't damage it. When the cap is off, sometimes the screw is a bit tight too, just hold the handle and it will come off, just use the right screwdriver so you don't strip the screw.
