I never did understand why people come and ask what "other people" would do or think, especially a bunch of strangers , no offense, I just dont understand it.
It's your car not other peoples, do what makes you feel good and screw what other people think.

The reason why i asked is not because not only how i feel but what affect it would have on value, there are so many people modding these days soon stock cars are going to be hard to come by, if colour didn't matter and no matter whether it was matching numbers then i would of said what the hell let's go for it, because it is matching numbers and colour is fairly important these Burgundy it's going to be.

A recolored Porsche typically takes a hit to its value, so your decision is best, in that regard.

Besides that, the Aubergine is a great color, and I think will have a bit more value than a silver or gray car.
