this is what I have in the trunk. That and the small battery should give the most weight saving and still do its work when needed

^Wow looks great! How old is the tire, and is special equipment needed to mount it on the wheel?

I've never seen a space saver spare mounted on a Fuchs wheel before. How did you manage that? VERY NICE!!!

Space saver on the Fuchs is nice. I saved a front tire from when it was replaced and had it mounted on a spare Fuchs I picked up at dcAuto. When I travel, it goes on the back seat wrapped in this ...

tire tote

The space saver spare is there in the event of a local flat tire.

Space saver on the Fuchs is easy enough, I have done it several times. It is a matter of finding a tire shop wrench willing to spend some time working on it. Issue is popping the colapsible tire off the rim's bead. After that, lots of lubricant and it goes off/gets on the rim as any tire.

I have been reading that this (collapsible on Fuchs) was factory on some RS and RSH models.
