Default HELP! In desperate need of a 83 cabrio "Rear Engine Decklid Grille" for father's day

My father owned one of the first Cabrio's in los Angeles and he loved the car to death. He eventually had the turbo whale tale put on the car and a week later the car was stolen from the carport at his work, never to be seen again.

The only thing that remained of the Porsche was the rear decklid grill (or whatever if may be called, apologies). He had it framed and IT TOO was stolen.

I am in a hurry to find one in time to find one, and get it framed before fathers day!

If I can't get it framed at least I can present him with the part.

Can anyone help?

My Memories of the car were that it was an White 1983 AWD manual Cabriolet and he added the turbo whale tale because he preferred the look.

I recall it looking much like this:

Appreciate the help guys so much!

Found a hood, but it won't fit in the same size frame.

I'm sorry to hear of this.

Buying vintage Porsche parts has gotten so bad, I would highly recommend laying eyes on the exact part before you fork out your money. Seriously, they'll send you their worst part if they can.

Why not just buy new? 911.559.411.01 is the correct part number for the SC engine lid grille, price in UK is approx. £111+VAT from the dealer. Pelican or Performance Products might have a saving on Porsche price.
