I used Surflex on a blue one in my car, and I haven't had any issues with it at all. I also did some interior pieces with it. It's pretty amazing stuff.

JackOlsen:

Thanks for the reply!

Where did you purchase the Surflex product?

I searched on Google and there were several.

Thanks

I got mine here. Click on 'Browse by Product" and then choose leather colorants.

JackOlsen,

Yes i actually looked @ that company too! I feel more comfortable now buying from them due to your past purchase.

Did you use a brush or a rag to add the color on.

Again thank so much, i just rec. my carpet kit today and i am ready to install the console but still waiting on it.

Cheers.

Gang,
I have used Joann's stuff more times than I can count. She has even asked me to do some work for people that have bought from her. I DO NOT like the brush method, still leaves marks. The rag setup is not bad nor the cotton swab, but the best is to thin it out 10% with water and spray it. I dyed my original 930 black from brown and it stayed that way for 4 years. Make sure you prep it right and the results through a little jam gun are awesome. I dare your friends to prove it was dyed. Excellent stuff!

Not yet, Stephen. Still weighing options, and saving my pennies.

Brush , swab or sprayer.

I guess i'll have to make the decision on which method to use.

Thanks again
