Default Is it possible to convert a 1989 911 carrera into a speedster look?

My first Porsche is a 2008 Careers 4s and I still have it. I know nothing about any Porsche prior to that. I came across a 1989 911 carrera convertible that was too cheap NOT to buy. Has 203,000 miles on it but I got for the price of engine overhaul. I feel like playing around with it. Is it out of the question to find someone to make it look like a speedster? I need new interior and paint job no matter what and was looking to put a ducktail on it. I want to be different. In a too big of a way maybe. Who can I call about this? I'm willing to ship anywhere for the correct project. My first post so I hope I am not out of line here!

It can be done. Most are Turbo Look bodied. So, yes, but it's gonna cost you. Welcome to the club.

From what Ive read, buying a windshield for your project may cost you more than the car did.

There was a $4800 ask '89 windshield posted on Craigslist recently: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/pts/3736175772.html Just the start of what's needed.

But with what it would reasonably and competently require to convert a car these days is probably 80+% of what it would cost to just go buy a mid-mile Speedster........... (Or you just buy similar from some crack smoker who posted an M491 Targa with 200K+ miles for $90K. Ad seems to be taken down now.)
