Default Intermittent wiper **** for '76

Did Porsche change the size of the intermittent wiper **** after '76? The Pelican part is too short to fit my car.

They should be the same for 1974-1989.

That's what I was hoping for, but the one I got didn't fit all the way down the shaft. All the threads are open.
Shall I send you a pic?

I'm not that familiar with the switch and ****, only that they are the same for many years. I would contact the place you bought it and see if they have any insight as to what may be the problem.

The wiper **** changed in '76 it looks like. The correct **** is 91161801100, which supersedes to 9646180140001C. There's also a spacer sleeve that you should have, which looks like it covers the threads on the switch, 91161820700.

That is the one I have, 9646180140001C.
Do you have a real photo of the **** with the spacer in place on the dash?
What does the spacer do, other than cover up the threads?
I looks to me that it sticks out too far.
