The reason I recomend them is because I fitted a set to a blueprinted 3.2 engine which I built for my SC and in combination with a Motec engine management system with larger injectors that engine made 270hp with absolutely no internal modifications.
As Bill stated, the SSI set up will work and as I have run them on a 3.6 I think they would be a better choice if you wanted heat from the system, but for track use go with the larger diameter headers and combine it with suitable fuel and ignition improvements.
What do you attribute the majority of those gains? -- The Motec ECM? Did the engine have the higher compression EURO engine? What does this type of setup cost?
