note that I rotated everything
so you will not be able to see any speed above about 70 mph...I turn it at 80 a few places... I need to do a quick sanity check before I release the brakes at that speed, so a little rotation gives me sight to 120 range
the tack is set so 5k is straight up - I am NOT racing,....not need to run too much past there, so i can see the needle straight up without looking - I have some breathing room for shifting, and like I say...no need to move the eyes
the oil temp is partially blocked as was the oil pressure - I might try going the other way with that one...as I have to look "over" the wheel to see temp = but it's a glance....no head movement so for now it's OK

I've been thinking of getting a MOMO steering wheel as well.
Has anyone here used the JWest Engineering eccentric adapter? According to the site, it's supposed to help in getting a better view of the gauges.

That is the first thing I noticed after installing my Prototipo! Here's a pic of my visual perspective. Not that much of an issue though.Originally Posted by Carrera3.2LG50

I originally bought the Jet for my 944, thinking about switching to a Prototipo or Retro.

Exactly! It's one of the, if not the most, important guage in the cabin!Originally Posted by porsche0nut
