Beautiful! Absolutely love the houndstooth seats - where'd ya pick those up? I'd love to get those seats for my Targa and replace my "whale-tail" with a sweet RS hood like yours, also new front/rear bumbers. I just don't know where to start looking. I live in Iowa, so I'd just have my car shipped to wherever it needs to go in order to have the "makeover" completed. I'm sure there are plenty of places on the West Coast who do makeovers/conversions - I just need to start looking. I'm currently in Afghanistan until July, but once I get home my first order of business is new suspension from Elephant Racing. After that I'll get the engine done, then worry about the cosmetics. Anyway; beautiful car :O)

Good for you! By the way, I think I like it better without the duck tail. This is your car, with your special touches. I only started the process.

The Ducktail looks just right on that build.

Default Ducktail is not very far away ...

Thanks Dave, I always liked the ducktail and the RS theme, it's just that I found the steel decklid on Pelican for $150 and decided to try it out. Of course the new steel front bumper and paintwork ran the project up another $3500, that's why they call it the slippery slope.

And the ducktail is stored in the garage for future use someday.

Also was trying to get it closer to this 70E which I had a few years back, I sold it in the initial run up of long hood appreciation for what seemed like a good price at the time .... the 911E is one that I wish hadn't gotten away.

Rich, here's wishing you a safe trip back home in July. The seats came from GTS Classics, http://www.classiccarseats.com/sports-seats.php

As far as places to get your Targa modified you have one of the best Porsche guys in the country just 300 miles North of you in Bloomington MN. Check out Aaron Hatz' shop at www.flat6.com

Pcarheaven, except I just read that per capita the police and highway patrol write the most tickets in Wyoming as anywhere else in the country ... just have to be sneaky when you are out hot rodding ....
