Default Dash Vent

How difficult is it to remove and replace the far right dash AC vent in an 86 911?
Needs to be changed for cosmetic reasons.

Don't know if it is the same as the 88, but if it is, it pops right out...30 second job...mine were broken and the louver controls didn't work...replaced it and it works much better now...

The manuals show a single screw on the side only. There is a hose behind that but I don't think it's clamped on.

That's right...unscrew the cover and then remove the ducting...it's attached via a worm screw. It can be painful to get the clamp back on over the ducting depend on how much slack is left in the ducting.

I'm going to replace my center vent eventually...should be fun.
