Default Taking Seats Apart

Has anyone disassembled the seat back from the seat bottom? Is the process complicated or is it simply removing a couple of bolts. The seat back raking mechanism is what has me concerned.
I want to disassemble the seats so I can dye them. I plan on using the Color Plus system. Thoughts on this product vs Leatherique would also be much appreciated.
Also, how long can I expect the dye to look good. I drive the car about 5000K per year. Thanks

I took the entire seat bottom apart. Quite involved.

Always take sequential pictures if you've never disassembled one. Makes it easier when reassembling.
