F1? Nobody drives those cars...they are trophy-car garage queens. I'm putting 1500-1600 miles a month on my TARGA. Too many guys out there worrying about the best product to use to bring out the correct sheen on their lug nuts, who only drive their cars on Sundays.

It'll be December soon. I have no heat, the top will be off, and I'll be driving nearly every day. Yeah, California sucks, Targas suck...yadda yadda yadda...

Good, everyone likes their own flavors and some get a bit overboard when it comes to brand endorsement....otoh, targa's suck ....I was feeling a bit too PC for a moment....ok now.

That is a beater...beyond patina into the neglected arena. They make good sleepers tho....had a friend witha XK 140 that looked like that but was mechanically perfect. He liked it that way.

Ha, nice. I happened to have a gallon of gas in a jug from when I was working on my CL350 (who's the weirdo now, neighbor?!). So now my scooter's full, and that'll get me around for a week or two. Hopefully the L will be back and there should be a let up in the gas shortage by then.

I'd love to see the engine compartment on that one....or maybe I wouldn't....

Also, I wish some one would sit the rattle can primer guys down and explain that primer is a porous coating that allows moisture to pass right through to the underlying metal.... it does almost nothing to slow the rust process...

Not sure about the year, might be a 912.

Hopefully is is still on the road vs. the scrap yard.

That's a narrow body, so it is between 65-68 and could be a 912. In 69, they started the slightly flared fenders.
