duke of boots

Hi all, i am hoping someone out there cab shed some light on the history of this engine.



I purchased it from Paul Williams (p911guy on several Porsche forums) about 4 years ago but he knew little of its history apart from it had recently been rebuilt. It came with triple webers, a 901 gearbox and all the tin wear. This is the Pelican thread when the engine first came to light -
