Default horn beeps when brakes applied

Has anyone heard of this? all of a sudden after driving 25 miles on a hot day this started to occur

If you have a stock wheel, pull off the horn pad and look for a loose wire. If aftermarket, pull the wheel off the hub to look for a loose wire.

If you have a 996 Carrera, it is probably the retaining ring has lost some of it's spring and the horn is grounding out.

You have the special 'election year' Porsche model...you need the stickers and placards and you'll be all set.
