Euro SC question

Sorting through some issues on the 83SC that I recently bought and realized that I do not have an audible "seatbelt" or "key in ignition" warning nor do I have a visual warning for the seatbelts. When I turn the key to run the dash display for brake and seatbelt warning illuminate and then goes off, but having the seat belt on appears to make no difference after this initial check. The question is; on the Euro models did Porsche not use this warning and only install it on the US models? Warren

Don't know. But my USA model '84 doesn't have working buzzers and for that I am truly grateful.
The Teutonic insistence of the chimes in my BMW has prompted me to call it a **** ******* more than once.

There should be a relay behind one of the instruments for tbis but i think yours is working. I dont think it warns after the fact. I always have my seatbelt on so will have to check

My 84 row Carrera does not have chimes for the seatbelt or the key either I suspect row cars did not come with them. My seatbelt light does remain on until I buckle up though.
