Looks like ethanol gas has eaten a fuel line in the 911. Took the Carrera to a buddies yesterday to swap in a new Alternator and when we looked under the lid fuel had sprayed all over, a quick turn of the key, and he spotted a small leak from the pictured hose. ![](https://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads21/fi_1986+89_1+07+05+91345431962.jpg)
This Carrera has less than 100K on the clock, all stock, you you guys might want to check those lines before a long drive, mine looked fine, and I got VERY Lucky..
BTW, can I get just the one line, or do I have to order the entire Red set??

Unfortunately it's all one piece, at least once you replace it you shouldn't have to worry about any part of the hose leaking again for a long time. We do offer a couple of different manufactures of the fuel line you are looking for. For more information on fuel lines CLICK HERE.

Man, that was more than four years ago.
Byron if you decide to go all in and replace your head temp sensor I still have the socket sitting in the tool box and would be happy to send it your way.

Byron, Zims in Dallas will sell you remanufactured lines for half the cost of new, you return your cores. Or, many have had braided lines made locally to them. No need to spend $600 to replace two lines.

This is really bizarre,...well,...maybe not that strange considering my car is 24 years old.
Yesterday I got home from a short drive (15 miles) and smelled gas. Hmmmm.
Open her up and lo and behold, gas happily spraying out of the forward rubber fuel line.
I check regularly and no signs in the recent past, but out of the blue, all of a sudden, bingo, two, count 'em, two brand new little holes spraying fuel all
over the place.
Grateful it's not a charred mess!

^I had a similar incident in my '88 cab. Gas was spraying near the distributor. Luckily it didn't turn into a fireball. My Audi TT, garage (attached to the house), and the wife's A4 were all in jeopardy if a fire had started when I first got that strong whiff of gas. The 993 was at my indy's shop at the time.
