80 SC rear deck grill Question?
I've noticed that under the rear deck grill (in engine bay) my SC does not have a cover that protects the engine from rain and water from washing? My SC did have AC at one point. Could this be the reason? Just curious?

The "cover" that you mentioned is the AC condenser. If your SC no longer has the AC hardware then water will have a bit easier time getting into the engine bay.
